I wasn't able to drive on the trails as they were much too messy with the snow, but the visitor center is amazing!! Absolutely amazing staff, really cool exhibits, and completely wheelchair accessible throughout. They even are working on setting up protocols so that visitors can borrow an all-terrain tracked wheelchair to explore the trails! I went this time to get my National Park Access Pass, but I will definitely be back again!

The staff is very nice and very helpful! They are very smart about the Prairie and they Wildlife out there. They have trails to walk at different areas of Refuge. Nice learning center and a road that takes you to see the Bison and elk. You can volunteer out there to help collect seeds. Exhibits, a theater to show a brief movie and a gift shop. I enjoy it. You can go through the enclosure to see Bison and Elk.

Beautiful, quiet and a photographer's haven. Even if the visitor center isn't open, come see the wildlife and enjoy some quiet time. Great paved trails for those looking for a nice hike through the tall grass.

Very cool stop on our 30 day roadtrip. The bison came within 5' of our truck on the auto tour. Made for some great pictures and incredible viewing. Really cool staff and park ranger. They clearly feel passionately for the exceptional work they're doing on the prairie. Well done!
